The Projects

In partnership with community groups we have identified important facility infrastructure projects that need to be completed in the upcoming years. If approved, this bond referendum will allow us to complete a number of projects including:

Liberty Elementary Improvements

  • Improve the Media Center to meet 21st Century Learning needs.

  • Include spaces for independent, flexible, and personalized learning.

  • Add contemporary amenities, technology,  and equipment in renovated areas.

  • Improve efficiency, safety, traffic flow, and add parking stalls.

  • Replace building controls that are no longer supported.

  • Replace roof that is past its life cycle and in poor physical condition.

Independence Elementary STEM Improvements

  • The 1981 HVAC system at Independence Elementary STEM is in need of replacement. This replacement would include a better air quality handling system as well as air conditioning. 

  • Improve the Media Center to meet 21st Century Learning needs.

  • Include spaces for independent, flexible, and personalized learning.

  • Add contemporary amenities, technology,  and equipment in renovated areas.

  • Replace lighting with energy efficient LED lighting.

Middle School Improvements

  • Improve Special Education Areas to operate more efficiently, with improved learning environments and designed to meet program needs..

  • Improve CTE and Future Ready Environments with emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, and will reflect the current market needs to better prepare students.

  • Improve the Media Center to meet 21st Century Learning needs.

  • Include spaces for independent, flexible, and personalized learning.

  • Add contemporary amenities, technology,  and equipment in renovated areas.

  • Replace remaining roof sections that are past their life cycle and in poor physical condition.

High School Improvements

  • Improve CTE and Future Ready Environments with emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, and will reflect the current market needs to better prepare students.

  • Improve the Media Center to meet 21st Century Learning needs.

  • Include spaces for independent, flexible, and personalized learning.

  • Add air conditioning and improve indoor air quality in activity/athletic spaces including the main gym and gymnastics gym.

  • Update the current weight room and create a fitness center that can be used by students and community.

  • Add contemporary amenities, technology, and equipment in renovated areas.

  • Replace the outdated and difficult to maintain building controls system.

  • Replace remaining roof sections that are past their life cycle and in poor physical condition.
